Space Dandy!

Supesu Dandi!

Ok, so I'm like unbelievably obsessed with this new Anime that's out right now called Space Dandy. It's such an amazing show for so many reasons, but it's no surprise-the creator is none other than Shinichiro Watanabe. That's right- the brain behind Cowboy Bebop. 

Reasons Why It's Awesome

Animation- Guys the animation in this show is crazy. Anime is expected to be eye-pleasing but whoever's animating this is on point. It varies from traditional anime form to oil pastels and even watercolor painting styles from episode to episode

• 
  
• Lessons- The characters seem immature most of the time but once in a while expect a heart-wrenching episode that is sure to point out a couple of themes to the audience (hint hint Episode 5!)
• Originality and Creativity- This anime takes place in space in a distant future with a crew on a ship, but that's pretty much where the similarities between Dandy and Cowboy Bebop end

• Humor- This anime is full of innuendoes, silliness and outright folly- you'll be sure to laugh every episode
• Plot Variety- The episodes do not run congruently in regards to the plot line-just a heads up beforehand. That being said, this allows for every episode to say something different and even portray different anime genres such as horror, drama, comedy, and even romance.  

Overall the animation will wow you, you will laugh, and there will be plenty of feels. Have you guys watched it yet?

Pearl Jam!

Guys do you see this necklace (probably more aptly described as a choker) right here?? I'm in love with it right now! 

I originally saw my friend sporting it with all black and I instantly fell in love. I've always been into pearl strands because they're so versatile but this is just another take on the classic pearl necklace that was accomplished gracefully.  I went to a local independent fashion store and they wanted $24 for it (of course I said no way)!

I'll always be in love with these, but I'm getting that choker! (Choker available on Ebay for $6)!

You Don't Know What to Do...

This Mariah Carey song has been in my head since FOREVER. I wasn't sure about it at first but it really grew on me and now I adore it it's so great to hear that she's still putting out hits. 

I didn't expect the collaboration with Wale but that's what makes this song so unique. What say you Mariah Carey fans?

Darling, Those Nails!

So I don't know about you guys but I just have this perpetual interest in stiletto nails (aka talon or "pointy" nails). Some people hate them and think they're too long and inconvenient but I just love 'em.

 I think that if you don't go overboard with length and color/design they're amazing. I've been trying to grow my nails to be this long, but they aren't strong enough so looks like the falsies for me!

It seems to me that a lot of people stick to the traditional squared tips, but I never really took to those. Celebrities seem to really take to the pointy nails right? I'm going to be getting these really soon, so excited! Tell me what you think about these nails- too outrageous or outstanding?
